Beautiful, simple, and the guy at the counter is very kind. You can order the proposed 4-cheese platter, which comes with a simple salad, bread, and olives, or choose from their vast selection at the counter. Simple white or red wine and a few beers. Top!

The food is okay, but the service is terrible. The woman ignored me several times, brought the food, and refused to give me cutlery because "you eat tarte flambée with your hands." She kept bringing the food to the table and looking elsewhere, and when I said something, she just walked on. It got so bad that I politely addressed the issue, and instead of offering an apology, she started making excuses and claiming things hadn't happened. She was incredibly rude. I wonder if this was because I'm a foreigner, or if she's always like this? I'd rather starve than eat there again.

The staff is very friendly, and the flammkuchen is highly recommended. When I'm back in Hamburg, I'll definitely be back!
