There are many men who discover and want to live their homosexuality only after becoming fathers.

The resulting problems, such as accepting "being gay" or overcoming guilt feelings towards their partner and children, have led to the formation of self-help groups.

Here, gay fathers have the opportunity for the first time to talk about their experiences and to learn that their problems are shared by many others. The individual can articulate their fears and is encouraged to consciously deal with their situation - with the help of the group; because from the description of their own experiences, possible paths are shown to them.

There are many different situations: some fathers live in the family and want to stay there, others are in the process of separation or have already separated from their family, others live with their children or have entered into a gay partnership.
