Who decides for me if I can no longer decide for myself? How do I legally secure my partner, chosen family, and my wishes? The working group "Queer Aging" invites you to an event on advance care directives, wills, and funerals at queerKAstle on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 3 to 5 PM.
For queer individuals, the standard legal model does not always fit their life reality. The event will focus on how self-determination can be legally secured – through advance care directives, living wills, wills, and clear arrangements for farewell.
Lawyer Cornelia Hübner will speak about legal precautions. Andreas Becker, founder and owner of Bestattungshaus Regenbogen, will shed light on queer-sensitive arrangements for funerals and farewells. All interested parties are invited.
