CSD Kassel
About This Event
CSD Kassel is the Christopher Street Day for northern Hesse, organized by volunteers from Queeres Zentrum Kassel, the city’s year‑round LGBTQ+ community centre. The event starts with a political demonstration, followed by a party.
The schedule runs like this: a rally on Friedrichsplatz, right in front of the Fridericianum, a march through the city centre, then a stage programme, drag shows, and an evening party at the Färberei near Universitätsplatz. Admission is free. In 2025, police counted roughly 2,000 participants.
The 2026 edition happened on Saturday, 13 June. The 2027 date hasn’t been set yet. Updates appear on csdkassel.wordpress.com and on Instagram @csdkassel.
