Welcome to the Genderbenders,
Life often turns out differently than imagined. From birth, we are assigned a gender, usually "male" or "female." But if we could choose this assignment ourselves, would it always turn out the same? Sometimes it might feel a bit tight, too restrictive, uncomfortable, or even simply wrong.
Especially when one is already an adult and has always lived one's life "gender-conforming," it seems difficult to find like-minded people and points of contact who can understand this feeling and the associated challenges.
We at Genderbenders know this feeling well, and we try to understand it as a positive drive to create a space outside of everyday life where gender diversity can be lived without prejudice. In our group, which we founded within the framework of ihs.e.V., you will find a safe oasis where everyone is welcome who is looking for such a point of contact.
No matter how masculine, feminine, both, or neither you feel, and whether this feeling seems to fit your gender at birth—we invite you to shape a space for like-minded people with us!
