Already in the 90s we were here for the first time and have rediscovered the Sticky Fingers for us - as a real time travel, so to speak. Live music in a dark shed, with cool people!!! A shop where you would rather not go to the toilet and wonder after some beers if a bottle of Amstel really has to cost four euros ...
If you like a late drink (until 4am) to the sound of live rock then this is the place! Only trouble for me as a non-smoker Rhodes allows smoking in most bars and even restaurants :(
Sticky Fingers brought me back to my college days...the music was fantastic as was the live band we saw there on Saturday night. The show starts late around midnight, so be prepared for that. the DJ on the night we were there was none other than Costas the owner of the bar. We had a chance to talk to him earlier and low and behold all the bands I mentioned I liked were added to his playlist, it was awesome! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back on Wednesday just for a few drinks and to hang out. Costas, thank you for the hospitality, the friendship, and certainly the Sambuca. Can certainly see why it is an institution in Rhodes, over 40 years of good music and good friends. Yogi
Visited this place on my recent trip to Rhodes. Really enjoyed my couple visits. Wasn't overly busy but the atmosphere was good, first visit was a good selection of metal being played and the second was very classic rock. No draught beer but a huge assortment of drinks. Staff where lovely was a guy there called leftanas...probably spelled wrong, was a really nice guy to chat to and the bar man on the other night was also a good guy. Didn't make it there on my last night as it was my birthday and probably started to early, but will deffo be visiting there again on my next trip to Rhodes.
If you don't like crowds and paying for cheap beer, give this place a go. Where the band members outnumber the punters 😂😂😂
This venue is open only on Saturday night from 11pm until late. The band played great rock music , blues rock rather than metal . The wall where we sat was decorated with old West coast concert flyers other poster of iconic 60s / 70s dominated the other areas. Drink were reasonable and the atmosphere friendly. Definitely worth a visit.
Sticky Fingers is the oldest bar/club in Rhodes and is still the best!! Rock is the name of this game and it's all happening in here!! Deep Purple, Stoned, Doors, Floyd, ZZ Top, Gallagher, Dylan and all the other big rock acts are played here LIVE. Tres Hombres is the house band and delivers with pride!! Not to be missed - Sticky Fingers Rhodes, Greece!!
The best rock club in Europe and worth visiting Rhodes. Filling ears for years since 1979!! The band plays live and is amazing even accepts requests from the Stones, Dylan, Floyd, Doors etc.
This bar is nowhere near it's TA map location- it is actually in the area behind the Blue Sky Hotel near the sea front traffic island. It only opens on Saturday nights around midnight, with a band coming on around 1.00 AM. A really nice Rock Bar/Dive sort of place, mainly used by locals, but with a good vibe and a great Rock covers band. We really enjoyed it as a contrast to the slicker Colorado "Rock" bar.
If you love good and solid rock music go there. They begin to play after midnight but it is worth waiting. we listened to "Tres Hombres", they are really good. Take care, the location on the map, here on Tripadviser is not the correct one. Should be corrected. We booked a hotel in a wrong area because of this. Have fun!
