Hotel Cristallo Brescia
Visitors frequently praise the Hotel Cristallo Brescia for its stunning sea views, excellent cleanliness, and generous breakfast with varied options, including for dietary needs. The convenient location near coves and public transport, along with ample parking, is also a recurring positive point. However, some reviews mention that the hotel is located in a somewhat remote area, which might be a consideration for some travelers.

The hotel desperately needs a renovation. The furniture was covered in yellow stains, the mattress sagged, and we both ended up in the middle of the bed in the heat. The hallway smelled bad, and the air conditioning needed its filters cleaned, as it also smelled bad, and we had to turn it off and open the windows. The cleanliness was appalling; there was hair in the shower and mold. Another problem is that it's not accessible for people with reduced mobility, and the carpet on the stairs makes access even more difficult. I can't comment on the breakfast because, although it was included, all I wanted was to leave. The staff wasn't as friendly as you'd expect from someone working with the public. The only good thing about it is the location, about 15 minutes from the city center, although the area seems a bit unsafe.
Terrible service....Booking made via email with various negotiations and confirmations....then I was told I'd never contacted them and they hung up on me.... I booked for the 2027 Alpine Reunion with confirmation and sending the required documents (credit card number and phone number), then I discovered that, even though they replied that they were happy to accommodate my requests, according to them I'd never contacted them....I even have all the emails saved...they were really rude.
Family-run hotel, good for relaxing. Very friendly staff. Good quality breakfast.
The hotel is located just steps from the Brescia train station. The entrance is on the first floor of a building and there's no elevator, so if you have luggage, you'll still have to carry it. The staff is friendly and helpful. I booked a room for two through Booking.com, paying a "designer" supplement. I'm not sure what the design was... but the most disturbing question is, "What are the standard rooms like?" Better not to ask. This room has all the amenities you'd expect, including a bathroom with a window, a balcony, air conditioning, and a TV. There's no minibar, but we knew that. Free parking under the hotel is extremely limited. Despite all this, it's worth mentioning the best cappuccino I've ever had for breakfast.
I stayed three nights. They clean the room and change the towels every day, which isn't a given. The staff is kind and helpful. The location is excellent, both close to the train station and convenient for getting to the city center. I'd never been to Brescia before, but I was there to go to the Travagliato Cavalli fair, and it was a pleasant surprise to visit Brescia. If I were to return, I would book here again. Thank you so much for your help.
