About this place Gaasperplas

The park around the Gaasperplas lake in Amsterdam-Zuidoost is a long-standing, informal cruising area. Activity centres on the paths to the left of the main entrance and around a small beach at the end of the dead-end road, and it is busiest from late afternoon into the evening in summer. It is also a public park: plenty of people come just to swim or walk, and there is no official signage or tolerance zone here, unlike at De Oeverlanden. Metro 53 to Gaasperplas station drops you at the park. Be discreet, take your litter with you, and report trouble to the police on the non-emergency number 0900-8844.
