Porto Pride

Porto has two Pride events, run by different organisers. The grassroots Marcha do Orgulho LGBTI+ do Porto (first held 2006) takes place in late June: the 21st march on Saturday 27 June 2026 left Praça da República in the afternoon and ended at Largo Amor de Perdição by the Cordoaria gardens, with speeches and entertainment from 18:00. The Porto Pride festival, whose name goes back to a Pride party first held in 2001, ran from 11 to 13 September 2026, with a free open-air main day on 12 September at Largo Amor de Perdição (15:00–01:00, more than twenty drag and music acts), a summit at the Teatro Rivoli, a drag brunch, a drag party boat from Vila Nova de Gaia and an after-party at Pink Club. The festival organisers say it returns in 2027; neither event had announced 2027 dates as of October 2026.
