I'm not giving it six stars because Google won't let me. The old-fashioned, family-run tavern atmosphere is enchanting. The food is sublime, especially the fish. Both the anchovies and the battered cod starters are wonderful. Then the cod à Braga is the best I've had in all of Portugal. And for dessert: the Molotov, a caramel and almond mousse that will make you weep with joy, and the Bolo (a kind of tiramisu) are simply amazing. And the service is like being cooked by an aunt from your hometown whom you haven't seen in ages. A must-visit every time I'm in Porto. It's best to make a reservation because it's small, and be careful not to miss it since it's hidden away.

I recommend everything on the menu; it's excellent. But especially the bacalhau alla Española—the sauce is exceptional; I drank the whole container! The photo shows a little less than half of it, and that's for one person. It's very generous, but above all, extraordinary.

Very welcoming atmosphere. If you want to experience the warmth of Porto, this is the place. The biscuit cake is wonderful, that alone makes it worth going. Very economical and generous portions. Worth it!

The place is truly fantastic! The warmth and hospitality are unbeatable; they take great care of you, cook your food fresh to order, everything is homemade, you can see the kitchen from your table, and you can see the ingredients they use. Highly recommended! It's on a hill, so if you're driving fast you might miss it! But if you do go, come back, you won't regret it!
