Malmaison Dundee

Located on the seafront in central Dundee, it offers spacious and spotlessly clean rooms. The breakfast is excellent, as is the in-house restaurant. At the front desk, I found Lewis to be a wonderful and helpful person. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the suite and thought it would be a good experience. We were promised a 2pm late check out the previous day. At 12:30pm, someone knocked our door and asked us why we have not left, we said we had late check out. At 1pm, another person came and told us, there was no checkout and asked us to leave in 15 mins. She was very rude and took no responsibility and did not apologize. When we came down they tried to charge us. They basically promised us late check out, promisee other guests early check in and tried charging us. Would not recommend this hotel. They also took extra charges for the decoration , and just added balloons. The facilities and run down, staff are rude and just try to extract money.

Can't fault the experience and service at the Malmaison. Great sleep and the breakfast was offering was brilliant.

Went to a drink reception and it was very smooth and the canapes were delicious.

Loved our stay, perfect location next to the train station and only a few minutes walk to the Town Centre.

It's very dark and expensive.

Absolutely live this place. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to Dundee
