This is the worst place I've ever been. I don't know how the health department hasn't shut this guesthouse down. They don't comply with the regulations for being open to the public. Everything smells awful. They don't clean or paint anything. The hallways smell of grime, the rooms of tobacco, the closets of damp. There's no room service, they don't even provide sheets—you have to use the same ones for the entire stay, and I was there for eight days. There's no toilet paper, and they don't change the towels either. Everything is a disaster. They should close it down. I completely regret booking there. The bed has an iron frame with four legs, a slatted base with missing slats that you sink into, and a mattress as thin as tissue paper. There's no air conditioning; it's hot. There's a ceiling fan that I don't know how it hasn't fallen down. It only has one speed; you hardly even notice it's there. Anything you touch sticks to your fingers. The TV is the smallest, a 14-inch model, and the remote's batteries are corroded. I couldn't see them enter without permission when you're on the beach and turn off the lights and the fan without permission. Your permission, the room door is broken and there's no security, everything is disgusting, don't book in case they close it.
Clean room and comfortable bed... Otherwise, don't look any further. Perfect for going to sleep and continuing your trip.
I just called and nobody answers the phone...
Located almost directly on the Promenade de Canterra, this is the place for anyone who loves the old Las Palmas.
