The saddest thing 🥹 I went for lunch today and found it said closed due to retirement. 😭 So sad. It was my bar for years.
It has closed due to retirement.
My go-to spot, where we always went without a reservation, is now closed. In fact, we were going to have dinner there today, December 19th. I discovered it over 20 years ago with my boyfriend, and it's the place where I've eaten the most in Madrid. Exquisite food, very affordable prices, and friendly service. I thoroughly enjoyed my breaded eggplant, lasagna, and the delicious pineapple cake. And the drinks are huge! The best place in Madrid for good, nice, and cheap food. It depends on the day and what you choose, but today I made the right choice.
What a shame it's closed due to retirement :'-(
A great spot in Chueca for a bite to eat and a quick drink between rounds of cocktails. You can have dinner, snacks, or enjoy some gin and tonics or cocktails. Plus, the Octopus sauna is nearby if you want to keep the party going.
Although it's too late now since they've closed due to retirement, I want to register my anger. We had a reservation for 14 people today, and when we arrived, it was closed due to retirement and renovations were underway. This is the only way to complain, but I've never experienced such a lack of professionalism. And at this time of year, it's nearly impossible to book for a large group. Someone should be held accountable for this lack of professionalism.
