7/12/25 ta & ggl v late evening (v early morning) drinks We four guys had had a good time in Yumbo and were the last to leave a club at 04:10. I owed my friends some (soft) drinks so at 04:30 on a Sunday/Monday we found the only place open was this end of the 'drag' which is usually empty. It seems to be an afterparty place for local staff after their shifts or hardened drinkers/partiers! We entered quite merry at 04:40 to find it sparsely populated so the bar was empty. I asked my friends for their drinks choices. Two cokes, and a beer for myself. My other friend was dithering. The tall, camp and stocky barman took my order order for the three drinks, easily done, €12... a bit steep. He also seemed to be simultaneously serving a very drunk middle aged female tourist shots. My friend finally decided on a rum and coke, which I asked for as I paid by phone 'I'm busy' he said as he poured her another shot (in a tiny shot glass). She seemed happy and I joked with her. One r&c was delivered very quickly..a bit too quick as bartenders tend to take their time freepouring (especially if one is nice to them!). €8 rather steep too! Maybe I was buying that woman her shots? Or him a drink? We had our drinks on the tables at the very very end of the bar by the stairs as one of my friends had tinnitus which is set off by loud music. A few minutes into our drinking a barman asked us to leave that space as it was closed although it was the same venue. We had to go back to the noise, we drank up quickly and left. It's a pity I did not take any photos at the time to prove I was a customer (I know there are some fk reviews out there) but I have screenshots of the transactions! Ok it is a VERY late bar, the last one in the Yumbo so he has a monopoly but at least it's open. Every establishment should show prices clearly, that's EU law. There was no signage. Every trading establishment should have a book of complaints - “Hojas de Reclamaciones” - By Law. They also must display the notice that they have the book available. On looking up my Applewallet a day later (and sober!) I confirmed the amounts deducted from my bank. On researching this site I found similar concerns. Well this is yet another one from early December 2025. He's obviously the boss and does not like tourists (as opposed to regular after work waiters etc.). Unfortunately I'm now in Las Palmas and due to fly out tomorrow so cannot chase this to personally. If you really need a very late drink then be vigilant. Buy one drink at a time maybe and ask for the price first. It's difficult though as one is usually quite merry and cavalier by then.

The staff is very unfriendly, especially the tall old bartender. The alcohol is not of good quality and they charge as if it's the real brand, when obviously by tasting it, it isn't. As they say in Spanish, they sell "garrafón".

Empty. Quite dreadful. Also aggressive staff. Not LGBTQIA friendly.

Nice place, too bad that the older tall guy behind the bar was not very friendly.

I've never seen such a dump. I think the only purpose of this place is to make you go to bed early. Absolute garbage, don't waste your time here.
