Sitges Bears Week 2027

<p>Sitges Bears Week in June is a big deal, maybe the biggest bear event in Europe. Roughly 5,000 bears and their fans descend on this small town, which feels almost designed for them.</p>

<p>It started in the early 2000s and now it’s the Mediterranean’s big summer bear event. Expect the usual: organized pool parties, bars taken over, outdoor meetups. But the real point is just thousands of big, hairy, generally friendly gay men arriving in a town with great bars, a good beach, and plenty of terraces. That’s the substance.</p>

<p>June means Bears Week lands at the start of Sitges’ summer. It’s before the August crowds hit, so the whole thing feels a bit more relaxed, more about the town itself.</p>

<p>Look for the official pool party, the beach gathering on Platja de la Bassa Rodona, and the bar circuit on Carrer del Pecat. Bears take over that street for the whole week.</p>
