Beach of Pinedo

Pinedo is the first beach south of Valencia's port, beyond the mouth of the Turia, and is listed here as a gay beach with a clothing-optional area used by local men and visitors. Further south, the dune beaches of El Saler and La Devesa in the Albufera park also have long-standing gay and naturist stretches, so it is worth asking locally which spot is busiest that season. There are no facilities specific to the gay section, so bring water and shade. City buses run from central Valencia towards Pinedo and El Saler; check current routes before you set out. As on any cruisy beach, keep valuables out of sight and leave the dunes as you found them.
