Beautiful experience hosted by Natalia and Natalia who were super attentive and excellent. Delicious food and fabulous drinks selection- best Roast lunch in Blackpool hands down!

We used to visit here on a very regular basis and I’m my opinion it was the place to eat in Blackpool. We were delighted when it was awarded the AA rosette. The only restaurant in Blackpool to earn one and absolutely deserved. The week after this award disaster struck and the swimming pool drowned our restaurant. Head Chef Jack was on the first life boat and unlike his name sake in Titanic he survived and is working in an undisclosed location. Sadly after his departure and the reopening the restaurant is now just an arm of the Grosvenor machine. The menu is the same in every branch so sadly the same drivel is available UK wide. We are both gluten free and instead of our usual discussion with the charming waiting staff we were subjected to the dreaded matrix folder. It wasn’t a great read for us sadly. The GF options were almost non existent across the whole menu and deserts consisted of 1 choice well 3 actually as there were 3 flavours of ice cream to choose from. Service was painfully slow from a restaurant that contained 20 people. Starters arrived made GF by removing the bread offered. ( how hard would it be to have a loaf of GF bread in the freezer?) ok but nothing amazing. Mains arrived my wife had fillet steak which was cooked med rare as per her request perfectly to temperature. I ordered the sea bass which looked lovely with 2 very nicely cooked portions however there was something lurking below the surface. Just like the iceberg that fateful night something nasty was about to be revealed. On top of my ratatouille was a layer of lyonnaise potatoes. These were cold and raw with not a single ounce of crispness to the outside and not a drop of butter or onions. There was some thyme scattered across them but that was like putting a sticky plaster along the Titanic’s shredded hull. Natalia was so apologetic removed my main from the bill and comped our 2 drinks. Thanks very much for that Natalia. Kitchen let front of house down last night 😢

We were greeted at the bar by Lucy and shown to our table. Lucy was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She explained that 1 dish was not available and went to get our drinks. Her service was wonderful leaving the right amount of time between checking on us. Food was well cooked and beautifully presented.

Food was absolutely incredible, came out in good timing. Steak was cooked exactly how I enjoyed it. Very lovely evening :)

Absolutely amazing evening. The Staff really put themselves out to make this a truly magical occasion. Would love to be invited to many more special events.

Great night on the Upper Deck. There for a slots final attentive bar staff,relaxing atmosphere,.great entertainment from Miss Tiffany and the Wonderful staff member Helen who stole the show with her amazing voice. Food was first class and the drinks were free flowing.A great night was had by all.finally a mention to Lucy.Natalia and Taylor who all ensured the night went off with no hitches.
