We had a great dinner and drinks with friends and suddenly there was a drag show as well. Lots of alcohol free and low alcohol drinking options, which are really tasty. Absolutely recommend to come here!

Best food I've had in the UK. Excellent cocktails and DELICIOUS tacos. Will definitely be back!

The atmosphere is great: colorful, urban, Pride decorations, disco balls. The food was quite good, but the portions were very small. The service was great at first, but after the shift change, it took forever to get our food and later the bill. It was as if our section was no longer assigned to a server—we had to find someone to bring us the bill... and it really wasn't busy...

Massively disappointing and silly decision for a menu change removing the jalapeño poppers and fajitas, the highlights of the menu and reason to visit. Toilets are disgusting.

Unfriendly and rude service. We had a reservation for 8 o’clock in the evening. As a queer couple we expected to be respected. We felt everything but that, because the server did not give us time to order and was very unclear in communication. We stayed respectful but felt a lot of negativity. In the end we got send away because my girlfriend didn’t had her fiscal id with her, but we did not want alcohol, we were just looking forward to a nice dinner. We are very disappointed.

The owner of Paradise Palms also owns an Airbnb, which I stayed in for 3 months. After I moved out, he did not return my deposit of £500 despite multiple messages over a month. Be weary of the professionalism and honesty when supporting this business.

Loved the food, friendly staff

This place is a treasure in Edinburgh. My wife and I visited for dinner on the 4th of July 2026. After reading so many positive reviews, I booked this for us not realising it was all vegan HOWEVER, that was nothing to worry about. The flavours were incredible and reminded me very much of when I grew up in Texas. My wife and I were absolutely blown away with the food, the service and the general positive and welcoming vibe of this little gem. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
