About this place The Joiner's Heart
The Joiner's Heart is a community-owned LGBTQIA+ pub in a railway arch on Bohemia Place, next to Hackney Central station. It opened on 28 August 2026 and is the long-promised successor to the Joiners Arms on Hackney Road, which closed in 2015 and became shorthand for London's lost queer pubs. The space was designed to be accessible.
It's new, so hours are still short: Google lists Friday and Saturday from 17:00 to 01:00. Cabaret nights such as Lèse Majesté run here. Check joinersheart.com before going on any other day.
