Youth Dance Class for ages 12-16
Are you interested in joining a dance class that will introduce you to the world of dance or help you strengthen your technical skills while exploring your creativity? This class is a fantastic opportunity for young people who are curious, imaginative and simply love to move.
You will train under the guidance of professional dance artists and build a strong technical foundation while developing your own artistic voice. Sessions are designed to challenge and inspire, helping you grow in confidence.
Contemporary dance sits at the heart of the programme, but each teacher brings their own influences, training and creative perspective. Throughout the year, guest dance artists will also introduce elements of street dance, broadening students’ experience and exposing you to a wider range of styles and movement qualities.
This class is part of SE19DanceProject’s programme and is generously funded by the National Lottery through the Sport England Movement Fund. Thanks to this support, classes are offered at an affordable rate, and bursary places are available. You can apply for a bursary HERE.
