Join artist and illustrator Lo Tierney and LGBT Foundation’s Liverpool Recovery Team for a Sober Social Drink and Draw for Recovery Month 2026

For Recovery Month 2026 LGBT Foundation’s Liverpool Recovery Team have joined up with artist and illustrator Lo Tierney to bring you a Drink and Draw – Dry Edition, Sober Social at Lovelocks Coffee Shop!

Get ready to unleash your artistic side and meet like-minded individuals in a casual and friendly atmosphere!

Whether you’re already sober, exploring a more mindful relationship with alcohol and/or substances, seeking harm reduction information or simply looking for fun sober events, this is for you!

This event is open to all artistic skill levels. Art materials will be provided at the event, so feel free to grab some and make some amazing artwork in a safe and sober space!

Key Info:

Date & Time: Doors open at 6pm and ends at 8pm.

Location: Lovelocks Coffee Shop, 27 Old Haymarket, Liverpool L1 6ER.

Access: Lovelocks Coffee Shop is wheelchair accessible, with a ground floor level entrance and double doors, or an alternative accessible route around steps*, there are two gender neutral toilets, and one is accessible. The cafe will be serving only drinks & cakes at regular prices, with vegan and gluten-free options available.

*wheelchair users, please be warned the door is quite heavy. There are also steps on the pavement, but in the middle there is a level approach suitable for wheelchairs.

Safer Spaces:

Our event will be LGBTQ+ centred, anyone attending will be expected to follow our Safer Spaces Policy
