About this place Ship & Trades

Ship & Trades is a pub and restaurant with hotel rooms upstairs at Chatham Maritime, on St Mary's Island beside the marina in Medway, Kent. It is a mainstream pub-hotel listed as gay-friendly, not a gay venue. Most people come for the food and drink as much as the rooms, and with nearly 3,000 Google reviews it is one of the busier dining spots on the waterfront. It sits next to the Historic Dockyard Chatham and the outlet shopping centre, and Rochester's castle and cathedral are a short drive or bus ride away. Weekend lunches and summer evenings get busy, so book a table if you plan to eat.
