Best steak I have had in a long time. Excellent service and atmosphere

Good food and excellent service

As always staff very helpful indeed food excellent especially the scallops and the steak its "rare" when one asks for medium rare to be exactly that. Only issue was the dining area this occasion was a little too loud. The building is ofc fantastic.

Very disappointed, have always wanted to try here and was extremely disappointed, the food was overpriced and overrated, I had the burger and beef dripping fries, £25 and I counted 20 chips, 5 guys would have been the better option

I avoided here for a while as I felt it was just a chain restaurant but I can't fault the quality of the food. Probably best steak in Liverpool.

Went for a birthday meal. One of the best meals I have had. The steak was cooked perfectly! Wine was excellent and a great cocktail list. Looking forward to our next visit

On arrival we were greeted by a pleasant and lovely lady who showed us to our booth style table, which was perfect. The ambience in the whole place was very welcoming and relaxed. Our meal was served in such a well organised and timely manner you simply could not fault it, from the ordering to the service of the food it was done with what I thought was genuine feeling. The waitresses were lovely and really pleasant. On to the food and what can I say but simply amazing. Do not ever let your chef go !!!! Each course was presented impeccably and tasted delicious. From the smoked salmon and Caesar salad to the steak, each course was fantastic. The candle on my desert with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate on the plate was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. Finally, our server, Haydn, was a true gentleman, and it was a real pleasure to deal with him throughout our visit. His recommendations were spot on and he was so professional.

The Hawksmoor made a birthday meal such a special day for 6 ladies. The buulding itself inside speaks for itself magnificent Then starting with the service David could not do enough. identifying when a water or wine needed a top up yet discreet in his manner so not to interrupt our conversation but also a pleasure to chat too he was helpful and informative with both wine choices and food options. We chose the summer menu as it had a varied choice and ideal for all 6 people We were not let down by the chosen options sorry no pics the chicken was absolutely delicious moist and tasty tasty tasty till the last bite accompanied with sweet potato lovely. Other options chosen were the hake and chips, hamburger and fries with peppercorn sauce, then 1 fillet and 1 rump steak with fries they were all so good no one was speaking just heard mmmmmmmm gorgeous then another mmmmm.Desert had the same impact mmm gorgeous Our wine choices were so good 1 lady whovrarely drinks enjoyed the pinot grigio so much asked for refill it was delicious Everyone agreed not a complaint what so ever on service ambience food wine and our 6 little cookie treat thank you Minor mix up on the bill but hey ho sorted without impact xxx

We had a lovely lunch here,with a lovely atmosphere and ambience, friendly and attentive staff and of course delicious food. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous burger and chips with peppercorn sauce. Could not fault it. Was cooked to perfection. Would definitely have it again if it stays on the menu
