About the venue
Effex is a gay nightclub on Central Avenue SW in downtown Albuquerque, one of the city's few dedicated LGBTQ dance venues. It opens only Thursday to Saturday, 9pm to 2am, and weekends are when the dance floor gets packed. Reviewers describe crowds of several hundred on a busy Friday…
