- Flora-Bama (Alabama/Florida state line, Orange Beach) — legendary roadhouse bar on the Gulf that's technically across the state line; not specifically gay but beloved by everyone and worth the 45-minute drive. Famous for its mullet toss competition and general mayhem.

Seville Quarter
Seville Quarter is an entertainment complex in the historic Seville district — multiple bars and dance floors in a cluster of 19th-century buildings. Not a gay venue per se, but gay-friendly and a convenient option for mixed groups who want variety in one place.
Pensacola Beach Gay Pride
Memorial Day weekend (late May) — Pensacola Beach Gay Pride is one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in the Southeast, drawing tens of thousands to the white-sand barrier island beach. The Gulf water is warm and calm, the beach is beautiful, and the event has a genuinely festive atmosphere. Hotels on the island book out months in advance — mainland Pensacola is the fallback, with 15-minute bridge access.
