We spent a weekend camping on a comfort pitch and had a very pleasant stay overall. Our pitch was a good size and located directly opposite the sanitary block – perfect for us. The sanitary facilities were generally fine. While some individual toilet cubicles were occasionally a bit dirty, I didn't get the impression that this was due to the cleaning staff. It seems, unfortunately, to be the fault of some guests. The showers are a bit dated and could use some updating. However, the water was always pleasantly warm. A new squeegee in the showers would be a sensible addition, as many guests unfortunately don't leave the shower area clean after use. I would particularly like to commend the team at reception. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and gave us a warm welcome. The campsite has a small snack bar, a pizza vending machine, and a small supermarket. There you can buy bread rolls, coffee, snacks, and many everyday necessities in the morning – handy if you've forgotten something. There's also a small playground and a bouncy castle for children. I can't comment on the rental accommodations, as we only camped in a tent. My only criticism concerns the gate hours. The gate is closed from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Especially for guests returning late after a concert or a longer excursion, it would be helpful, in my opinion, to be able to drive right up to their own pitch. This would create significantly less disruption on the campsite than if many guests had to walk across the campground at night. Furthermore, the parking area in front of the gate isn't large enough for this situation, so parking chaos quickly ensues. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much. The price-performance ratio is excellent, we felt comfortable, and we would gladly return.

Beautiful summer weather, ideal for a walk along the Bosbaan and on the way to the Pancake Restaurant. Still the 3rd heatwave though = now end of July 2026. Wonderfully cool among the trees on (very) hot days. Picnicking around the Grote Vijver is also great. Swam, sunbathed, and even BBQed, etc.

The Amsterdamse Bos is childhood nostalgia for me. I love going there. I was there just now for a festival. Filthy tunes, apparently I've outgrown that 🤣🤣

If you like goats this is the place to be. The renovations are a bit of a pain but the place is idilic.
