Unfortunately, the service is not good. There's no water for washing hands in the restroom. Can you pay by credit/credit card or cash in dollars or euros? A 10% tip is included. When we took a photo from the main road, a security guard was rude and told us off because there were only cars. Hello? What kind of manners is that?!

The hotel is unsanitary, the service at reception is terrible, and at check-in they changed our reservation to the wrong room, claiming they had no more availability, even though the original reservation was paid for at a different price and for a different type of room. Honestly, this hotel is a scam; don't come here.

Hotel Nacional de Cuba is a historic and beautiful hotel that is part of the soul of Havana. Its classic architecture and prime location make it an iconic place, steeped in history and charm. Strolling through its grounds is almost like stepping back in time, enjoying a unique atmosphere that blends elegance and tradition. It also boasts one of the island's most iconic shows, an unmissable experience for anyone visiting Cuba and wanting to immerse themselves in its culture and music. Without a doubt, a visit to Hotel Nacional is highly recommended, whether for an overnight stay or simply to enjoy a special evening in a magical setting.

Land mark of the city. You can feel the atmosphere as you walk around. The gardens are beautiful and live music there too. Perfect place to hang out, have a cocktail and cigars.

I stayed two days at this hotel. The lobby gardens are lovely. The room, however, was rather gloomy and neglected. During my trip around the island, it was at this hotel that I encountered arrogance, ignorance, and rude service in the bars. The staff were very ill-mannered and gave the impression that they were working there as punishment. This put me off returning.

I had an excellent stay with my family.

The terrace has a spectacular view, but the cocktails are a bit pricey.

Paradise

A historic, meticulously maintained hotel. It's free to enter thanks to its huge garden overlooking the sea, complete with a bar and restaurant. The service is excellent, and I recommend trying their pina colada. For me, it's a must-see if you're visiting Havana.

The location and historical significance are excellent, but the property lacks the necessary resources to maintain it as a luxury antique hotel.
