Vamolino

Excellent restaurant and especially excellent Bolognese cutlet recommended

Stunning restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, very good food! I recommend the Parmesan tart with leek cream.

A lovely, intimate place. We ate very well, and the service was truly excellent. The only problem was the reservation website crashed and didn't confirm my reservation until later, but we still managed to dine. I recommend making a reservation or arriving early, as seating is limited. Everything was truly spectacular, and many compliments to the waitresses, who were truly welcoming, polite, and fast. I recommend the lasagna, the tortelloni, the bresaola carpaccio, the parmesan flan, and the panna cotta!

Short waiting time, nice and helpful staff, and a great atmosphere. The lasagna was really good, and I can definitely recommend it. However, the vegetable salad we ordered was quite pricey for how dull it was—just a few tomatoes and olives, with mostly lettuce. But that's what you get for ordering a salad. I strongly believe that any other dish would have been leagues better. If you're looking to spend a nice evening at a restaurant, definitely go here.

Excellent food. The Bolognese sauce and the duck were superb. The capon soup was delicious. If you're in the area and looking for a place to eat, this is a highly recommended option.

A total gem of a restaurant. It's difficult to pick out the places in Bologna that really stand out but this is definitely one of them. Food was amazing. I ordered the Tortellone with buffalo-milk ricotta, sage butter, balsamic vinegar reduction and toasted hazelnuts and it was just perfection. Wine pairing was recommended by a member of staff was also lovely. Other notable dishes were tagliatelle with ragu and lasagne Verde. The panna cotta was delicious too. Staff are friendly which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Vamolino is somewhat hidden away, yet right in the heart of Bologna. We stopped in for a late lunch and were delighted. A great menu and delicious food at fair prices. Highly recommended; we would have loved to try more, but we were full. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Good dishes, especially the lasagna, truly delicious! It's a shame the portion of balanzoni was a bit small, and the portion of strawberries was exactly two strawberries cut into quarters without any toppings, and it cost the same as a dessert. Nice and cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. Prices are medium to high (€11-16 for starters, €14-22 for main courses, and €6-7 for desserts).
