ibis São Luís

The location is very good, but my experience with the service left much to be desired. On the first night, upon arriving at the room, I noticed there was no shampoo and requested it. After a long day out, I returned to the hotel and found that the request had not been fulfilled, requiring me to call again to request something so basic. At check-out, the situation was also frustrating: there was no one at reception. I called, knocked on a door, and someone answered saying they would be leaving soon. I waited more than 12 minutes and no one appeared. As I needed to continue my trip, I ended up having to leave without being attended to. The location is excellent and convenient, but the service and attention to guests need significant improvement, especially considering that these were simple failures that could have been easily avoided.

Terrible, the images speak for themselves.... Anyone with rhinitis should stay away... simply disgusting....

Welcoming and clean environment, extremely polite and kind staff.

The room had a simple yet modern decor, and the bed was comfortable. The acoustics in the room were poor; you could hear EVERYTHING from the nearby rooms. The breakfast was a 10/10! They had gluten-free cake, granola, oatmeal, and other gluten-free options, but the only gluten-free savory bread was cheese bread, in addition to omelets and tapiocas. The service was good; I needed to contact the maintenance staff, and they came to the room in 5 minutes. Good location, but despite being close to the beach, it's a bit far to walk; it requires a stroll.

My experience at the Ibis São Luís was extremely disappointing. The rooms had mold, the drains were clogged, and the A/C didn’t work properly, making the stay very uncomfortable. Worst of all, both the bedding and towels were dirty—completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially for a well-known chain like Ibis. There was a clear lack of basic hygiene, maintenance, and upkeep. This property urgently needs major improvements before welcoming any more guests.
