Holman Riverfront Park Hotel (Tapestry Collection by Hilton)

Unbelievable loud road noise. Yes rooms are clean and comfy but that does not matter if you get no sleep. Fan noise on my phone at full volume could not overpower the semi truck breaks and road noise just outside the window. At this price point I expected better. No amenities in the room to compensate, I have stayed at other Hilton's that had white noise machines or at least earplugs to help with this problem.

Beautiful hotel. Very comfy. I used to work at a hotel and remember the importance about going above and beyond for guests. I forgot my sentimental necklaces (my own fault) in the room. After numerous attempts to have staff go check it just felt like it wasn’t that important to them. I know exactly where I left them and no attempt was really made to find them. I take full Responsibility but someone caring would have made a big difference.

Such a beautiful suite hotel room. It was huge, overlooking a lovely rooftop garden. We were so comfortable here. The valet parking was great. It's located close to great restaurants and bars downtown. I would love to stay here again. I highly recommend it.

Rooms are nice, parking and getting in is horrible. The road noise in my room (against the main road) is horrible. It literally sounds like I'm on a drag strip. Friday night everyone goes down the road revving their engines all night. It sounds like they're in the room with me.

They advertise "expect magic," but I would settle for a coffee maker that doesn't need an engineering degree, a hair dryer that is, you know, near the bathroom (it's behind the safe, the front desk said, before calling the issue 'weird') and not being kept awake all night by the noise on the street Other than that, it made an effort to feature original art and design elements to make you think the hotel might offer something special; but no.

The room was great the staff was great location was okay being in the middle of town, but it was made up for with on-site upper floor garage parking and free valet service, and was conveniently located near Riverfront Park, just a block away. Great view from the room as well! Our only complaint was that when searching for hotels in the area we chose this one in particular because of the great room and view, but half of the decision was made because we thought they had a pool and hot tub (when we google searched the hotel) they did not have a pool or hot tub and blamed it on Google for misleading us. However they had an opportunity to correct that information when we booked the room

I never write reviews but I just had to after this experience. Parking situation is challenging because you can park on the street but it’s very limited. They are valet only so you end up paying $30 per night to park. The room bathroom was dirty with pubes in the shower and on the toilet seat. The walls and glass in the shower were filmy and it smelled of pee. The floors and baseboards clearly were not cleaned between guests in the entire room and were filled with dust and hair. The front desk was unapologetic but quickly moved us to a new room which was in the same condition as the first room. We debated on leaving but were exhausted and felt like there was a lack of care from staff at that point anyway. The AC in the new room did not work properly and would kick on the heat throughout the night so we woke up sweating. The walls are thin and we could hear the guests upstairs walking around, flushing the toilet, and rifling through their belongings. For over $300 a night this place is not worth your money. The only redeeming quality was that the beds appeared to be clean and were comfortable. But I definitely wouldn’t walk around barefoot in the room or shower.

We had an incredible stay here! Right in the heart of downtown Salem and right across the street from the convention center, this was the perfect place to explore the city. Our room was very comfortable and clean and even had a balcony! I appreciated the large fridge, smart TV in the living room and bedroom, and I really loved the robes! There is also an attached restaurant (Gamberetti’s) that was super delicious for dinner and a coffee shop (Lip Service) in the lobby. We were also able to walk to Riverfront Park—it’s right behind the hotel. We had an excellent time here while in Salem!
