Fab pub with accommodation. Breakfast Included with free drink on arrival. Staff really helpful and friendly. This was our second visit, and will stay again. They have a bar with tables to drink and chill at. TVs showing sports and other news, which is quite nice. Its better than some of the other accommodation where you're just stuck in a room. Better prices if you book direct rather than via Booking.com.

The rooms are quite small, but clean and nicely furnished. This time we had the "Magnum" room – and the name is definitely ironic! The electrical wiring in the Magnum can't handle two cell phones plus a TV: On two consecutive evenings, the power went out three times each night, and I had to go down to the staff each time to have the fuse reset. We then only had the TV on or a cell phone charging. The walls are very thin. Even after I asked the neighbors to speak more quietly, whispers, coughs, and all sorts of background noises could be heard. The room and hallway doors close automatically and slam shut with a loud, uncontrolled sound. The room windows are just as thin as the walls, and we always had fresh air in the room, even though the windows were closed. Our showers took longer because of the weak water flow. The breakfast is great! The staff is friendly! The hotel is very centrally located, and the subway is a three-minute walk away. However, the charming hotel makes up for all the negative points because it is simply so unique and lovable.

Stayed here as all nearby hotels were full for an event at the Kia Oval. Rooms were small, but clean and in a quiet area away from the main roads. Air conditioning was great. Food in the pub was good and a freshly cooked breakfast to order was great. Nice to also get a complimentary drink when I arrived which was a nice touch. All the staff were great, Kuldeep and Alex were super friendly! Great pub and location if you are staying overnight and need to be near Vauxhall / Oval or US Embassy.

Attended a post christening party at the Griffin. Lovely surroundings, good food and great staff.

A great experience. Room was comfy, clean and well equipped with usb sockets next to the bed. All the staff were so friendly, chatty and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. Booked as walkable to the O2 Brixton if we needed but found it was on a very regular bus rout from Victoria and to the O2. Will definitel stay again.

Much nicer than a travelodge, very central and yet quiet because it's off a main road. Rooms didn't have door handles on the outside or swipe cards which as a woman made me feel safe. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

A great find, not too far from the river. Booked as a treat for my son after a sight seeing day in London. Gorgeous decor, comfy room, delicious burgers, amazing breakfast and really lovely staff! Thank you for a lovely stay!
