Great food, quick service and a really friendly vibe. I ordered the Bandit Burger (beautifully cooked) and had a local craft beer to wash it down.

Far too expensive for what you get. Won't go again

Very pleasant with decent food

Great cocktails and bar staff who know how to make a decent drink. One of the few bars in the Village that knows how to serve Campari (50ml, add soda). Has all the trappings of a hipster hangout; classic cocktails, filament light bulbs and bare brick walls. I love it here!

Complete meh experience. Ordered the bean burger and it had the consistency of cold mash potato. I applaud the effort to offer veggie / vegan food but they shouldn't have bothered as the attempt was atrocious. The duck and plum sandwich looked good but hey, I don't eat meat, so, whatever.

Tucked away at the top of canal street, Taurus tends to attract a slightly older, artsy, well-heeled crowd compared to the rest of the 'treat. There is a small downstairs venue where Ive seen comedy shows in the past. OK selection of beers but the cocktails are the main attraction. Try and find a happy hour though because they are typical city centre cocktail prices!
