AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea - Nowoczesny AC Hotel w Wailea

This hotel is pretty nice and is very new! The service is just a tad lacking in several ways but it may just be the growing pains of a newer hotel. Location is excellent given its proximity to everything g in Wailea. It’s very beautiful and the pool/spa were very cool.

The infinity pool with whirlpool was great and has an incredible ocean and mountain view. We ordered food and drinks ftom the bar. Both were excellent and refreshingly well priced for a resort.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in February 2026. It exceeded our expectations, and we had a beautiful time here! We particularly loved the staff (shout out to the bartender at night who would ask us what we did every day, and gave us wonderful suggestions!) and how helpful and kind they were to us. The food and drinks were some of our favorite that we had in Maui, actually! Our room was always clean and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We were there at the height of whale season and could even see whale spouts and breeching from our balcony. It was a life changing experience! We loved how close it was to the Wailea path, and to other restaurants. We love to go for a walk, and thoroughly enjoyed our nightly walks from the hotel to the path to watch the sunset. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and have already been bugging my husband to go again! To the staff, mahalo for your kindness and hospitality. It meant everything to us!

I loved the clean and fancy room and pool. They provide $12.5 coupon every night, which can be used to buy some snack or bear. Loved the time I stayed here.

As much as I loved the location and the room, the sofas in the rooms has water marks all over. I did like the pool access from the room, helps when you have small kids.

We booked an “ocean view” room at AC Hotel by Marriott Maui Wailea and were honestly shocked when we arrived. Our room faced the tiki bar and pool, and you had to lean over the railing just to barely see the ocean. Very misleading. Front desk service was also not good, especially during check-in. Not helpful and not willing to address the issue. Thankfully AVION stepped in and got us a full refund, and we moved to Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort where an ocean view is actually what it should be. Just a heads up for anyone booking… be careful with “ocean view” here.

Fantastic hotel. Walking distance from Shops at Wailea, coffee and breakfast joints. Hotel staff were friendly and service was top notch. Highly recommend and will definitely return. The infinity pool was amazing.

Edit update for rest of stay. Few other things to know about the hotel Cons - mattress is very very poor quality - floors and walls are thin. You're going to be awake as long as your neighbors above are awake - kinda feels like they nickel and dime you everywhere (cabana seats at the pool you pay for via QR code. Just kinda tacky. Pool or beach towels you have to get from the front desk. There is a something about a daily surcharge you can use as a credit at the bar. Parking is $40 a day, etc etc.) - if you are near an exit it's LOUD you hear the door slam over and over Pros - bartenders and other staff are great and really friendly - gym is nice enough gets the job done

I really wanted to love this hotel, but I think for the price there are a few flaws. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and the lobby is clean and well laid out. Parking was very easy and they had a lot of spots open all day. We were upgraded to a corner suite. The balcony was HUGE and the recliners were great - they had an ultra thick cushion on them which I have never seen before. The rest of the room was very meh. It lacked a lot of the typical “hawaii charm”, and could have been a Courtyard anywhere in the states. Clean enough. They were late getting us into the room, but did comp our parking which I was appreciative of. Overall for the very high price, I would have expected something a little nicer in the room itself.
