The Langham, Melbourne

We stayed here as a bit of a treat, and it was well worth the money. The location is great - very convenient if you're travelling by train as Flinders St station is just across the river, it's only a few minutes walk. The service was very kind and helpful, someone was able to take our bags up to our room for us and check in was quick and easy. Our room was lovely, maybe a little old fashioned style-wise, but clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. The bathroom was a really good size - although the bath was quite small, I'm only 5'5" and found it just ok, but anyone taller would struggle to fit. We didn't eat at the restaurants this time, but ordered some desserts to the room, which were really delicious, the lemon tart was excellent! The only small complaint is that there was no easily accessible power point next to the bed, but it wasn't a huge inconvenience. We had a great stay, and we'll definitely be back, we're looking forward to trying the spa services next time!

Little slow with service. They charged us for two breakfasts instead of one. We had to chase them for days to Refund the money but they did eventually with a bit of trouble. But excellent location and place. Would return again on my next trip. Very close to flinders station as well

What a great hotel. Recently stayed at The Langham for a concert in Melbourne. I am so lucky I found it. We flew in from Adelaide on a late flight, the staff were super accomodating and we even got a free upgrade! Our room was super clean, cozy, big enough for my fiancé and I! We were in walking distance to everything and such a short distance from Rod Laver Arena. I wish we stayed for an extra night that’s how amazing it was. We didn’t get to try the pool but next time we will. We will 100% be back! Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We are super excited to stay here again when we come back to Melbourne!!

Third visit and still superb in every way!

We had a great long weekend stay at the Langham. The room was nice and quiet even though we were across the river from Flinders Street Station. We had the pleasure of visiting the spa and wellness centre, both of which are lovely facilities. The hotel breakfast is also quite nice and offers plenty of gluten free options. Just speak to the restaurant reception and they will sort it with their head chef, who is super friendly.

Booked two rooms with The Edit and FHR. Both get upgraded view on higher floors. 145aud credit for both. The FHR credit can be used towards the 80aud valet fee. Breakfast buffet for 2 per room. Handwritten welcome letter with fruit plate, nuts and a bottle of sparkling and still water. Heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. Good location in the city.

I've stayed at many 5 star hotels around Melbourne and The Langham is by far the best. Exceptional service, fantastic value with the Club Langham package, easy and stress free valet parking, delicious breakfast, beautiful rooms and facilities, a great gym, fantastic pool... flawless. Stayed for my partner's 40th birthday and a cake was waiting in the room upon arrival with champagne, balloons and decorations. Sensational.

The views from the room were fantastic, especially overlooking Flinders Street Station with trains constantly coming and going, along with great views of Fed Square and the Yarra River. The room itself was fairly standard but spacious. Unfortunately, the bed wasn’t very comfortable and I didn’t get a good night’s sleep on either night. The mini bar was well stocked, however there was a significant build-up of mould in the shower, which was quite unpleasant. The breakfast buffet looked impressive, but the food itself was nothing special. Overall, there was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, but nothing stood out as exceptional either. I would only return for the views.

Brilliant

Bit of a mixed bag. Great facilities, nice room and bed. I was in a river view king superior, it was a bit of a stretch to describe as a river view.. if I stood in the corner of the room it worked! Slow check in. Dont expect to swim in the pool its small and busy. Great location.

Best place to stay in Melbourne Get treated like royalty.

Had a wonderful experience this weekend at the Langham hotel and also at Melba restaurant. We were served by a chef named Bhatt who went over and above for us. The buffet is a 10/10 and the attention to detail from all the wait staff was also outstanding. Thank you A+

Throughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was great, the buffet dinner at Melba is a must and be sure to get the buffet breakfast too. Everything is so delicious. The freshly made omelette was amazing. One thing I have to mention is the amazing pineapple and ginger Jam that chef Vy makes in house for breakfast. It’s delicious Definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Very special evening, in a luxurious setting. The atmosphere was refined but def intimate which made it very memorable. Attentive & impeccable service, a perfect blend of elegance & warmth.

My partner and I stayed at The Langham for his birthday. When you first step in it is absolutely beautiful and the staff are exceptional. Thank you to the lovely English woman on front desk who gave us an upgrade to a beautiful suite as it was my partners birthday. Even sent a yummy birthday cupcake to our room. The room was perfect with an amazing city view and bed was so comfortable. The buffet breakfast is amazing and caters for everyone. If I could give more higher star rating I would. Can’t wait to go back…
