Spark by Hilton Green Bay

I woke up to ants all over the headboard and nightstand and even crawling in the bed. I'm so grossed out.

Updating my review: After my stay, management reached out and issued a full refund for the night, which I do appreciate. My original issue still stands our room had a very strong wet dog smell that made it uncomfortable enough for us to leave after our concert instead of staying the night. I’ve stayed in pet-friendly hotels before and never experienced anything like that. When I initially called the front desk, I didn’t receive much of a response or apology, which was frustrating at the time. However, I do want to give credit to management for following up and making it right afterward.

Older hotel, but updated/modernized and kept up well. Very clean. Short drive to the airport. There are free cold continental breakfast items, but no hot offerings.

My first stay at a Spark hotel, and I was impressed, considering the lower cost. It was a nice surprise, just after checking in, to receive a text from Hannah at the front desk, asking if everything was good with my room. I mentioned that I could use bottled water if they had any, and she brought a few bottles of chilled water right up to the room! As a side-note: I realized the next morning, that there was a water fountain/dispenser near the lobby as well, and I like that option for refilling our personal water bottles. Noted for future. The room was very nice (modern Ikea-style furniture, with a European-like minimalism), clean, quiet, smelled fresh, and the bed was very comfortable! Plenty of lighting options, and the temperature was spot-on. Breakfast was minimal but I feel it had something for everyone. The breakfast attendant was very nice, and I was impressed to notice her polishing the chrome on the coffee carafes when I walked out! As a footnote: "Home 2" hotels (also under the Hilton umbrella) are similar, but larger 'suite' rooms - and same style. Also super-comfy and clean. I will definitely book here again!

Clean, friendly staff. Staying for 3 nights and so far everything has been great.

Very disappointed. When we arrived the system was down and our reservation couldn't be found. We were unable to get keys to get Into our room. We were never informed nor was it posted on the website that the pool and hot tub were under renovation. Breakfast was limited to bagels/prepackaged muffins/cereal... We were supposed to stay for two nights but decided to pack up cancel our second night. Would not recommend.

Check in easy it was prepaid so they put us on the 4th floor. Staff fair- clerk kind of sarcastic. Breakfast lady left before it was over. Loved the mattress so comfortable. Heat good. It was really cold outside when it turned on it blew cold air for the first couple minutes. Then came out warm. My biggest negative was the toilet. It was so low it was like sitting on the floor. Would be great for little kids. I'm used to highboy toilets. Also a frig but no microwave, no coffeepot, a hassock for a desk chair (seat, no back) the couch had an arm that was dirty closest to the bed. If u have microwave popcorn or a hot snack or u want coffee,.tea, hot chocolate or hot cider it's down to the lobby to use the only microwave right by the front door. They have a couple small fridges with drinks and frozen dinner/ breakfasts for sale. Pool was closed for maintenance. Didn't see a workout room. Breakfast was your typical continental. Rolls,muffins,instant oatmeal, cereal, toast and boiled eggs. Orange juice, apple juice, 2% and oat milk. Breakfast room an ok size. Clean but not that warm in there. Was told by the lady at the desk this is kind of a "no frills" Hilton. If you want that stuff you have to pick a higher grade Hilton. We paid more for this hotel than a lot of others that came with everything. So if you want no frills this is your place. Note: after my review the Manager said to contact her about our stay with more details. I did by phone, it went to voicemail. I also sent an email. No one ever responded. To me this just reflects the "no frills service" the desk person mentioned.

Pool closed. Shabby breakfast. I don't know where I saw, but pictures showed this breakfast to be huge. It's not.

The room was exceptionally clean. I had an issue with an online reservation and they credited it. Snow plow and shoveling woke me up. That could happen at any hotel. Nice folks.
