Worse experience in Japan: receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive. We left shortly after arriving as the atmosphere with the receptionist at the counter was so unwelcoming: I felt he was racist against us being Europeans. We went to the sauna and spa at the Capsule Hotel around the corner and it was fantastic. Staff were helpful and friendly: there are different pools of varying temperatures, three dry saunas, a steam room and lots of relaxation rooms. We didn’t want to leave! Many local young Japanese men however it is not suitable for cruising if that’s your thing.

I went there on the evening of April 2, 2026. I have been to many saunas in Asia and the jerk in the front desk was THE worst receptionist I have ever seen! He was so impatient and murmured something insulting (I understood some basic Japanese) while I was navigating the ticket machine. I will not go back EVER.

2500 yen for mediocre onsen that has low temperatures, including their sauna and steam room. Tons of lockers but very limited facilities, the gym equipments are so outdated it's not even funny, with some of them having coin slots because the owner is scared of electricity over usage... last but not least the patrons quality is pretty substandard

It was my first time going there, or maybe my second time, but it was quite a while ago, so I'd say it's completely different now. I came to Osaka from the countryside thinking I could stay at a sauna, but everywhere was full during the three-day weekend, so I was in a bind. I looked it up and found this place, which was a lifesaver. When I called, the response was rather poor. But I managed to have a conversation and was told that a private room would cost 3000 yen. When I actually arrived, the bespectacled, slightly overweight person at the reception desk had a unique demeanor that made me feel uneasy, but I just brushed it off, thinking that there are people like that. Maybe he's not suited to being a receptionist. In the end, it was 2500 yen plus an additional 5500 yen, which I didn't really understand. If only they had told me on the phone... It was fine, but they didn't explain anything, so I paid it thinking, "Well, it's this price, so I guess it can't be helped." The private room was about 3 tatami mats in size. It's smaller and of lower quality than the private rooms at Tokyo 24 Kaikan, but it's cheap and as long as I can sleep there, it's fine. There are no free outlets, so if you want to charge your smartphone, you should bring a 3-way power strip. You can also go out, so as a replacement for the Hokuokan, I think I'll use it when I come to Osaka in the future. However, that receptionist... maybe they should change her or give her some training. Since there's no competition, when foreigners use it, they're representing Japan, so I hope they can use it in a pleasant manner.

The facilities are somewhat like a smaller version of Tokyo 24 Hall, catering to a wide range of ages and types, without being limited to any particular type. It's a great place to stroll around, relax, and if you're lucky, you might even meet your dream girl.

Good location, close to a metro station; there are more locals than foreigners, but the facilities are clean and modern.

i was there at around 7 pm. Its my first time, but it felt real good. Many guys are a real eye candy. There were tattooed guys too. Its like the usual onsen where you wash up first and could take a dip, but theres only one hot bath (the other is cold) which isnt quite big. There are two saunas room.. which apparently many actions take place there too like in an ero game. From my limited experience, I noticed that there are two kinds: those lying on the bed (in the public space).. waiting for someone to approach them. Or the one going around, checking from room to room. If you want to lie down and get approached, you should show most of your body (esp. the legs?) and just cover your thing with ur towel. When approaching, you can tap the person gently and everything's done by eye contact. Keep on staring back to back green signal. Not staring.. is idk. Tbh i have no idea whats the red signal (i think there is, im just unsure what. = lack of further testing). Tips1: just say sumimasen or sorry if u dont like it and they'll just go away. Tips2: Observe other people. They're mostly pro. Plus the receptionist is nice (i think). Oh, for context im a Southeast asian with a rather pale skin so idk about others. Tips3: 1F receptionist, 2F baths and sauna, 3F and 4F the public room for xxx stuff or.. to actually sleep.. Huh. but receptionist said that private room needs to be paid. 5F is gym Tips4: maybe learning a bit of Japanese. I mean i cana bit here n there. Plus i research first from google reviews, reddits, Japanese friends (they're so helpful in giving odd tips like drinking milk after an onsen? Its apparently a must). Basic: Shoes off put in locker. Enter cash through the machine to get a ticket 2500 until 1 am, 3000 until tomorrow. Exchange the ticket and shoe key to the receptionist to get another key.. Which goes to ur locker room to place bags etc. Hope everyone have fun! -QDestructX

The attitude of the elderly employee with glasses is just too bad. It's only natural that he wouldn't say hello, and what exactly does he want by being in a bad mood? Is normal communication really that difficult? After all, we are customers and paying the fee. What benefit does he gain by having this person at the entrance? No, there isn't. I wonder if the owner is aware of the current situation... I would love to know what kind of employee training they provide. I think it's a lack of supervision. Of course, I don't expect hotel-like, crisp service or a humble attitude. I would like them to have someone who can at the very least interact with customers in a normal, non-offensive way. Even high school students can do that. They haven't been able to do that.

If you prefer men over 35 with a slightly chubby build, this might be a good option; otherwise, you might be disappointed. It costs around 2500 yen, which is average. The environment is fairly clean, but the second floor has a strong smell of smoke, and the third and fourth floors can get quite smelly when it's crowded. Please eat before going in. I was planning to go out for dinner and come back, but when I asked the front desk if I could go out and come back, they simply said no. Most of the customers seem to be Japanese, around 60-70%, and they are mostly middle-aged.

Overnight guests can only enter at 6 PM. Remember to check out before 1 PM the next day. Otherwise, it's not very friendly. Saturdays are quite crowded. The atmosphere has become more lively since the maze was converted into dormitory-style rooms. It would be better to keep just one maze.

Does this place have age restrictions? Checks ID?
