Pousada Souvenir Guest House

Really enjoyed my stay at the Souvenir Guest House. The hosts were really kind and supportive with me. During the day, I enjoyed the terrace to relax and charge batteries. The area is in the center of Thamel, very close to all the shops and restaurants you’ll be recommended to. Still, the guest house is situated behind a front yard which makes the atmosphere more inviting. Also loved the plants all around the place. They are always up for a chat and gave me a ton of helpful advice. It was also possible to hand in laundry and getting it back on the same day. When I had to extend for a night, it wasn’t a problem at all. We went to the mountains and arranged with the host that he’s taking us to our entry point of the Annapurna Trek - very helpful! Next time I will be in Kathmandu, I will spend my time at Souvenir Guest house.

It is my first time in Nepal as well as my first big travel alone. The Souvenir Guest house is one of the best souvenirs I’ll take home after 2,5 month in this amazing country. The Guesthouse is ran by the most caring family ever. I felt at home from the first moment I entered the cosy and green/ paradisely looking place. Laundry service, super cozy room, warm shower and help with every needed thing. I was even able to keep my bags stored while away on hiking trips. Souvenir Guesthouse, you are the best!!!

Great family run Guest House. They will make you feel right at home in Kathmandu. I travelled to Nepal for the first time and it was really nice to stay in this friendly welcoming setting.

I have been coming to this guest house for more than 15 years. The family who owns it and runs it is amazing, the location perfect, many different kinds of rooms for every budget and great vibes. You will leave wondering when you will be back again.
