Fat Eddie's

We were in town for 1 night only and looking for a venue with live music. Fat Eddie's certainly scratched that itch. The place had a really fun vibe and the band was very entertaining.

Busy Saturday night, great band playing and super busy great vibes on the dance floor. But staff couldn’t even smile when taking drink orders and one walked away after a fight with a co worker and didn’t serve the drinks we paid for! Also have to fight through the large crowd at the bar to move anywhere else.

Always amazing live music with devine pizzas, and beautiful smiling customer service. Always a great vibe at fat eddies.

Can't comment on the food, atmosphere looked okay from walking in. Was in here for about 10 minutes at 11:30pm Friday night. Waited in line with my partner to get a drink at the bar which was packed (fair enough It's Friday) and we got asked to be put on waters straight away with a 5 minute wait to 'sober up'. I get these guys have a job to do to look after intoxicated people but we hadn't even had a drink yet and only just got In hoping for a good night. Doesn't live up to the name. Guy was pretty young that served us, probably needed a water himself.

It's the bar you go to before a game at the stadium amd the one the young ones line up for at night. It's ok, but really just a big bar that turns into a night club for 18 year old. Outside seating was good amd the atmosphere was grand because the Warriors were on.

Terrible food, Even worse service

Can't even review properly as my partner and I were refused entry after starting our night off with an amazing cocktail downstairs at Kong then deciding to check out upstairs (Eddie's). Security's demeanor towards us was standoffish and unwelcomeing he asked us how much we had tonight and our response was the one cocktail we started with which he replied that it was one too many and that we couldn't go in??would not recommend this place to anyone Christchurch has much better venue's to spend your night.

Came in for dinner, was dead quiet but their was live music which was lovely to listen too while eating and chatting. Got the pork belly pizza with a gluten-free base. The gf base was really good! My friend got the southern fried chicken burger and it was good. Fries were great!
