Kontra (Lesbian Group)

Kontra (Lezbijska grupa Kontra) is a lesbian human-rights organisation based in Zagreb, founded in 1997. It started Croatia's first lesbian SOS and information line and was one of the co-organisers of the first Zagreb Pride in 2002. Its work covers legal aid, advocacy, documenting discrimination and hate crimes, and lesbian visibility, often together with other Croatian LGBTIQ groups. It is an organisation, not a social venue. Contact it through kontra.hr before turning up at the office.
