Quiet hostel, Felt more like a home for remote workers thank tourist/party place

The place is very pleasant, well located, with a functional kitchen. The dorm is clean, the showers work well, and the staff is great. I highly recommend this place; as a solo traveler, I felt safe.

Apart from Artem and the other cheerful guy working there, there's nothing good about it. It's like a prison. Everyone who comes here is over 50, there's no space to socialize. The rooms are strange, the beds are strange, and the receptionist is a strange woman. I ran away on the second day of my four-day stay, my money and time was wasted. Don't go there. The atmosphere is like a nursing home.

I personally thought this was quite expensive considering it’s a hostel not a hotel. Bare in mind check in is at 2pm we arrived at 5:30pm so well after check in time and was told we had to wait as someone using our room I don’t know about anyone else but I don’t think that’s okay. And I don’t know if this is a thing all guests have to do but we also had to make our own beds when we got in the room? also it was raining and the roof was leaking which was directly over the bed. Our room also had mould all over the walls too. The only thing that was ok was the location

Great hostel! Pros: friendly staff, clean rooms, common areas, and bathrooms; pleasant design, beautiful mirror in the room for beautiful photos; good mattress and pillows; comfortable private area with a curtain; large kitchen and common area; nice smoking benches outside the hostel. Very convenient location in the center of the old town Cons: The rooms are on the ground floor and have panoramic windows, so even the women's dorm is awkward to change in. However, in my opinion, this is a minor drawback, as you can change in the restroom or behind the curtain on your bed (by the way, I was on the second floor, and even then, everything was great – high ceilings and plenty of headroom, and they don't creak when you go up, so you don't disturb others). I had a minor misunderstanding with the night manager: if you arrive late, the door is locked and you have to ring the bell to open it. The bell is loud, which disturbs the hostel residents. The manager gets annoyed when he opens the door back and forth, for example, if you go out to smoke at night (which is understandable). In my opinion, the system could be reconsidered and replaced with, for example, a coded doorbell or a quieter lock, so it at least doesn't disturb the hostel residents. Other than that, only good impressions. A wonderful hostel, probably the best of all the places I've stayed!
