Big smart bookstore Entrepeneur Peter Dussmann's stylish corner store built in 1997, with five floors of books (and CDs and DVDs), including an English-language wing. Possibly the first big new thing to emerge in this area following the fall of the Wall, this store is a great place to browse and read, but keep in mind the struggling independent gay bookshop Prinz Eisenherz Buchladen in Schöneberg [see entry].
