Friendly staff, great atmosphere

So yes, I agree with the opinion already expressed (but hey, that was 7 years ago 😱!) that with such a cute and friendly bartender, it's worth a little detour just for that. And it gives you a little thrill knowing that this place is so old 😁

The atmosphere and music are very reminiscent of the old Toms Bar in Berlin. The staff is super friendly, really friendly. My only complaint: for a Saturday night, I expected more action. Maybe I picked the wrong night?

It was only my second time there, but I found it very cozy, with various places to retreat to and great staff.

It was my first gay bar over 30 years ago and I'm pleasantly surprised that it still exists, which unfortunately is no longer a given these days!

I was there again on February 28, 2026. I was so looking forward to the reopening after the renovation. What really surprised me in a very positive way was the non-smoking area. The staff are very friendly. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

This is a place with a soul. Pretty small, but cozy. People after couple of drinks get chatty.

It's a shame that Toms didn't take advantage of the opportunity after its closure and reopening to finally become smoke-free! Since I have to shower after every visit and my clothes are ready for the washing machine (because of the unbearable smell of smoke), I probably won't be going there again. The non-smoking area might be a nice idea, but unfortunately, it doesn't prevent the unpleasant smoke in all the other areas. Throughout Germany, it's possible to run smoke-free yet fetish- and kinky-friendly establishments. Why doesn't Toms dare to finally take this step? What a shame!
