Cola Olidda (gay-frequented naturist beach)

Cola Olidda is a secluded rocky cove on the coast between Molfetta and Giovinazzo, roughly 20-25 km north-west of Bari and reached from an exit off the SS16bis. Local reporting (barinedita) counts it among a handful of informal naturist beaches around Bari that are frequented predominantly by gay men, and it is generally described as the busiest of them. It is clandestine and unserviced rather than an official gay beach, so bring water, shade and footwear for the rocks, and note that access is over uneven ground. Bari's in-town beaches (Pane e Pomodoro, Torre Quetta) are family beaches, not gay or nudist.
