About this place Cola Olidda (gay-frequented naturist beach)

Cola Olidda is a small rocky cove on the coast between Molfetta and Giovinazzo, about 20 to 25 km north-west of Bari, reached from an exit off the SS16bis. Local reporting lists it among a handful of informal naturist beaches near Bari used mainly by gay men, and it is usually described as the busiest of them. It is an unofficial spot, not a recognised gay beach. There are no services. Bring water, shade and shoes for the rocks, and expect an uneven walk in. Nudity is tolerated rather than permitted, so be discreet. Bari's town beaches (Pane e Pomodoro, Torre Quetta) are family beaches, not gay or nudist.
