Fitch Hotel

Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast, very nice staff. Unfortunately the room was only partially clean, the bathroom and bed were fortunately spotless, but the floor was clearly not cleaned, even after we asked at the reception. We also had to ask for toilet paper because they didn't put new ones in the room. The pool on the roof is really great. Apart from the cleaning, everything was perfect during our 5 night stay. The sea view room is a bit of a scam, because you can only see the sea from the side, but I liked it regardless.

It’s a shame layout was a bit nice just so dirty. Hairs everywhere, stains all over the sheet. When I asked them to clean the room, the receptionist didn’t seem to care but said someone would sort it. It looked no different stains in the exact same places so I don’t think they even changed the sheets. Other than that rubbish view and noisy all night which is obviously not their fault but just bare it in mind being near a party strip.

We arrived on the night of May 16th and everything was perfect: a warm welcome, an immaculate room, and impeccable service. However, on May 17th and 18th, a major negative point arose regarding the room cleaning. It wasn't done: the sheets weren't changed, nor were the towels in the bathroom, and some were even left on the floor untouched. Despite three requests for the room to be cleaned, only a minor action was taken (replacing two towels), but the sheets on the floor weren't even touched… which is quite disappointing for an establishment of this standard. It's a shame, because everything else is truly excellent: the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food is superb, and the hotel is beautiful. We're staying until May 24th, so we'll see if the situation improves by then… But today, the value for money doesn't quite meet our expectations, especially for a hotel that's more expensive than average. I hope to hear back from them! Update: On May 18th, we arrived back at 6:00 PM and the room was finally cleaned! Let's hope it's done for the next few days! To conclude, the rest of our stay went very well; the manager is very responsive! One member of the night staff didn't seem to know much, but fortunately, the security guard was lovely and dedicated to the guests. The security guard was very helpful! We're happy with the rest of our stay!

We stayed at the hotel for four nights in May 2026. The service was very good. The rooms were technically very sophisticated, but unfortunately, our standard room was quite dark, meaning we always had to turn on the lights during the day to see anything. The bathroom was equipped for people with disabilities, with many technical features. Unfortunately, it was impossible to avoid getting half the bathroom wet while showering. We found the breakfast okay, with the option to request certain items, but there were also alternatives, such as the fruit, which we felt was very limited. The rooftop pool is more for atmosphere than for swimming. There's also a small bar up there occasionally. However, it's difficult to use in strong winds. We hardly ever went up there. There was construction going on right next to the hotel, so there was construction noise, and we always kept the very small window closed at night. As others have already pointed out, this area is the party district of Malta, not recommended for people over 25. The TV didn't work; I assume it never did (no internet connection).

Unfortunately, there is not enough space at the rooftop pool. The guests are ill-mannered. My own towel and book were stolen by a guest. I reported it. I received an unqualified response, threats, and insults. The hotel is excellent, the intelligence of the guests leaves a lot to be desired.

A wonderful adults-only hotel. Delicious and varied breakfasts a la carte. A small but functional rooftop pool. Jacuzzi and gym. High-quality service. A location perfect for those seeking nightlife.

Honestly, the hotel management ruined my impression of this hotel and the island in general. The pool is small and only open until 6 PM. Your every action is monitored by the management, including when and with whom you go and stay. My friend's card was blocked and security was called because we came to her room and wanted to evict her. So think before you check in and choose a better hotel.
