Moldova Pride

Moldova Pride has grown from guarded gatherings into a genuine June festival week run by GENDERDOC-M, the country's veteran LGBT organization: a solidarity march through central Chisinau, concerts, exhibitions and club nights (recent editions partied at Skal Club and NOD space). The year-round heartbeat is Queer Cafe on Alexei Sciusev street — queeraoke, movie nights, a queer choir — so a Pride-week visit lands in a city with an actual daily scene, modest but real. GENDERDOC-M also runs Coming Out Days each October, the autumn echo of Pride.
