We returned there twice because the food was so good.We ordered a mixed place of fish.I loved the fact that the fish isn't dry. It's fresh and very tasty. The pricing js more than reasonable and service is so nice.
If you’re searching for an authentic, no-frills taste of Lisbon, Floresta das Escadinhas is an absolute gem hidden right in Baixa! Tucked away on a charming stone stairwell, this tiny, unassuming tasca serves up some of the best seafood in the city. The star of the show is undeniably the grilled fish—smoky, perfectly seasoned, and pulled straight off the charcoal grill. Whether you opt for the fresh sea bass, sea bream, or seasonal sardines, every dish comes out tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Pair it with house wine and warm hospitality for an unforgettable meal!
The fish is incredibly fresh! Our favorite dish was the mixed fish platter: salmon, sea bream, and sea bass. The fish is so fresh it doesn't need sauces to be delicious. It's a very popular place, and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Highly recommended.
Every time I have the chance to visit Lisbon, I always come here. It's a simple diner with authentic local cuisine. The meat and fish are always fresh, and the food offers excellent value for money. The restaurant is only open for lunch, and it can get very busy right after opening, so arriving early is a good idea. Thanks to staff
