As city parks go, this must be one of the very best. Lots of wide open spaces, beautiful statues, flower beds, benches. Dog friendly
Nice large park to walk through. Also very nice with children with all playground equipment. You can also have a drink in the restaurant and visit Duthie garden.
My husband and I spent a few hours wandering around the park and winter gardens. It was lovely and well worth a visit. Afterwards we visited the café for a cuppa, we didn't have any food. I also used their accessible toilet which had ample manoeuvreing space. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful park, and very busy on a sunny day. The water courses could do with some TLC though; only the top one actually had water in it, and that had been polluted by oil/petrol. The two lower ones were empty and weed-filled, which is a shame because they must have been a major attraction in their day. Other than that it's a well-kept and very clean park. Also has a boating lake which was in full use by budding Navy commanders, several children's play areas and botanic gardens with a cafe.
A wonderful place- especially beautiful in the sunny day we had. The grounds are ample and the place is immaculate, very well kept
What a fun place! A really well kept park (we encountered several workers maintaining the park while there) and not having to spend a cent! We all really enjoyed a big walk around the place, the playgrounds, especially the slides, and the garden they have next to the cafe is really cool to see, highly recommend you go in! Our first (and possibly only) time in Aberdeen, it was a gem of a place and a great find during our travels.
Park for older kids was enough to keep our boys 7 and 9 interested - 2 big slides. Park was well kept, plenty of places to sit and a cafe to get a coffee.
Very interesting botanical gardens and water features. There is a Restaurant/Cafe good quality and reasonably priced.
What an outstanding gem this place is. Absolutely beautiful, especially the indoor gardens. We went on a visit to relatives in Aberdeen and spent a lovely afternoon there. We were amazed at how lovely the place is and of the information about each plant/area that was on show, detailing not only the plants, but the history behind them and of how they became part of Duthie Park Gardens. All finished off with a lovely afternoon cuppa in the cafe where the service was great. Would highly recommend if ever you find yourself in Aberdeen and are looking for a relaxing afternoon.
Amazing place. Winter gardens are spectacular. Beautiful place for all ages .A must see when in Aberdeen.
