Duthie Park

Duthie Park, the large Victorian park on the banks of the River Dee just south of the city centre, has a long-standing reputation as one of Aberdeen's outdoor gay meeting spots, mostly around its quieter wooded fringes and the car-park area after dark. This is a public family park, so discretion and common sense are essential, and Scotland's laws on public behaviour apply. Treat it as a place to meet rather than anything more, keep aware of your surroundings — especially late at night — and respect other park users.
