Basic hotel with a five star staff. Ross you're a super star

The rooms are fine, like all Holiday Inns, and the location is quite good. There's a paid parking lot, but with direct access to the hotel reception from the third floor. There's direct access from the street to the rooms, bypassing reception, which made us feel unsafe. The person who checked us in was a bit unpleasant, although the rest of the staff were lovely. There are great views from the upper floors—perfect for a photo!

Disgusting hotel. It is an embarrassment to the Holiday Inn Express brand. As a IHG member, I can absolutely say this is the worst Holiday Inn Express that I've stayed in worldwide. Google deleted my previous review because it was too harsh, I suppose. So I will try to tone it down. This hotel is old, noisy, has no USB ports, has nowhere to put your luggage, doesn't have any electrical outlets near the bed within cord length, takes 3 flushes to drain toilet. The chairs in the lobby are disgusting. No pride. The breakfast bowls also disgusting. I had to go through a whole stack to find a clean one. Never found one. No pride. About the breakfast, you get what you pay for...it's free... This hotel is on a major noisy highway. On the confirmation email sent, it mentioned nothing about how/where to park. The GPS brings you to the front door where there is nowhere to park. Can't park on a major highway obviously. Absolutely NO signage with directions on where to park. It forced us to drive around the block time and again looking for a spot to park, just to walk to the front desk and ask questions that should have been addressed in the email! Even the front desk staff said, "Yeah, we get that complaint all the time..." That alone suggests management could care less about about their guests, all the time. A known problem, that could be fixed with one or two sentences in the confirmation email, yet management continues to ignore customer complaints. The "4 star reviews" must come from hotel employees. Certainly not from guests who have reasonable standards... When I return to the States, I will write a scathing email to IHG headquarters in Atlanta describing the despicable conditions at this hotel, and how it is souring the brand name.

Nice place. It has a great location and it's quite quiet. The breakfast in the morning is good. All the people we have interacted with have been very kind

Two stars max. The standard is evidenced by the photos of the restaurant chairs. This is the first time I've encountered anything like this. The cleanliness of the rooms is average, the condition of the rooms is slightly better. The breakfasts are abysmal. Scrambled eggs made from powdered meats, cheeses, and vegetables—tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers—forget about them. Sausages are just like sausages in England, poor quality. Generally, you're hungry.
